The Diocese operates a comprehensive program titled "Provision of Medical Support and Capacity-Building for Thalassemia Care" in partnership with the Teaching Hospital, Kurunegala. This initiative includes the supply of essential medications, procurement of specialized medical equipment, and the organization of educational workshops for patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The goal is to enhance treatment outcomes and elevate the overall quality of care for individuals affected by Thalassemia.
